Refund policy

Return and Refund Policy for KingHale Gallery

Thank you for supporting KingHale Gallery. Because we specialize in original fine art and custom-produced premium prints, our return policy varies depending on the type of artwork purchased. All sales are final unless otherwise stated below. KingHale Gallery does not offer refunds for change of mind. Exceptions apply only in cases of shipping damage or manufacturing defects as described in this policy.
Please review our terms below:

1. Custom Prints & Online Orders

Every print ordered through our website is custom-produced to order.
Final Sale:

Because these items are made-to-order, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for change-of-mind or buyer's remorse. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to these Final Sale terms.
Order Cancellations:

If you wish to cancel an online order, please contact us immediately at support@kinghalegallery.com. If the order has not yet entered production, we may be able to cancel it for a full refund. Once production has begun, the order is considered final and cannot be cancelled.
Damaged or Defective Prints:

We stand behind the quality of our prints. If your order arrives damaged during shipping or contains a manufacturing defect, please contact us at support@kinghalegallery.com within 7 days of delivery. Please include your order number and clear photographs of both the product damage and the shipping packaging.
We will promptly arrange a replacement print at no additional cost to you. If a replacement cannot be produced (e.g., due to discontinued materials), we will issue a store credit or refund at our discretion.

2. Original Paintings & Online Gallery Purchases

Final Sale:

All purchases of original, one-of-a-kind paintings (including featured gallery pieces like The Poet) are considered Final Sale. No returns or refunds will be issued once the transaction is complete. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to these Final Sale terms.
We encourage collectors to thoroughly review high-resolution images, request detailed condition reports, or inspect the artwork in person prior to finalizing their purchase.
Shipping Insurance & Transit Damage:

For original pieces requiring specialized shipping or freight purchased through our online gallery, KingHale Gallery fully insures the artwork for transit. In the rare event that a masterpiece is damaged by the carrier:
1.The buyer must document and take clear photos of the damaged packaging and the artwork immediately upon delivery.
2.Contact us at support@kinghalegallery.com within 48 hours of receipt so we can initiate the insurance claim with the shipper.
3.Please retain all packaging materials until the claim is resolved. The carrier may require physical inspection.
4.Once verified by the carrier's insurance, a full refund or professional restoration will be provided to ensure you are fully covered.

3. In-Person & Live Event Sales (e.g., FreedomFest)

All items purchased in person at live exhibitions, art fairs, and events are considered Final Sale. No returns or refunds will be issued for change of mind. Buyers are encouraged to inspect all artwork carefully before completing their purchase, as federal consumer protection cooling-off provisions do not apply to arts and crafts sold at fairs and similar venues. By completing your purchase at a live event, you acknowledge and agree to these Final Sale terms.
Post-Event Shipping:

If an in-person purchase requires shipping after the event, the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and shipping insurance. KingHale Gallery will coordinate professional packing and carrier arrangements on the buyer's behalf, but the buyer assumes full financial responsibility for transit costs and insurance coverage. We strongly recommend that buyers purchase full-value shipping insurance to protect their investment.
Post-Event Shipping Damage:

In the event that artwork is damaged during transit, the buyer must file a claim directly with the shipping carrier's insurance. KingHale Gallery will provide reasonable assistance and documentation to support the buyer's claim, but is not liable for damage incurred after the artwork leaves our possession. The buyer must report any damage within 48 hours of delivery and retain all packaging materials for the carrier's inspection.

4. Discretionary Returns

In the rare event that a return is authorized at the sole discretion of KingHale Gallery, the item must be returned in its original, undamaged condition with all original packaging. Items showing signs of use, alteration, or damage not caused by the carrier will not be eligible for refund. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Refunds & Processing

For approved damage claims, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund as well. If more than 15 business days have passed since your claim was approved, please contact us at support@kinghalegallery.com.
